Rachel McDaniel never disappoints! Her latest release, Undercurrent of Secrets delivers a romance threaded with mystery that is sure to entrance and entertain readers with every chapter. This book is a time slip novel and it is expertly crafted. I honestly could not decide which story line I preferred. They flowed effortlessly together creating a seamless story that eventually overlapped as the pieces of the mystery fell into place. The men in the novel are absolute perfection! Don’t make me chose between them because I loved them both! Hattie and Devyn were both heroines that I absolutely adored. I love it when authors write strong, intelligent females with personality! Devyn and Chase had the best chemistry! The flirty banter was off the charts! Jack and Hattie had the sweetest romance born from his admiration of her unique and independent nature. The romance in this book book built simultaneously with the mystery and by the end I was hanging by a thread in a ball of anxiety! No spoilers! I also appreciated the strong faith threads in both stories! It was bold and refreshing!
I absolutely adored this book. This is my new favorite Rachel McDaniel novel. Well, until the next one I’m sure!
